Rainbow Crystal Candy Box, set of two

Each Rainbow Box contains six of our best-selling crystal candies, one of each flavour: grape, rose, peach, coconut water, lychee, and green apple. You receive two boxes per order.

Crystal candy is made from agar-agar and Australian sugar, hand-shaped in our council-inspected commercial kitchen in Sydney, and left to crystallise slowly for up to two weeks. The outside forms a firm, translucent shell. When you bite into one, the shell shatters and gives way to soft jelly inside. There is nothing quite like the texture.

The flavours in this box are the ones we sell most often at markets. They are the safest place to start if you are buying for someone who has not tried crystal candy before, or for yourself if you want to work out which flavour you want to come back for.

Every candy we make is vegan, and gluten-free. The packaging is plastic-free, using biodegradable cellulose and paper. The candies are shelf-stable and travel well, which makes the two-box set suitable for posting and for gifts.

Shipping

Free shipping within Australia. Orders ship from Sydney within seven business days (usually a lot sooner - depending on production cycles). We use padded paper-based mailers and the candies travel well. If you have a delivery deadline (a birthday or a gift date), add it in the order notes and we will do our best to meet it.

Gifting Guide

If you are buying this as a gift, there is no plastic anywhere in the box. The packaging is cardboard and the candies sit in a paper-lined tray, with a flavour guide card on top. The set can be wrapped as it arrives or unboxed and presented your own creative way.

FAQ

How long will it keep?
At least 1.5 months unopened, stored at room temperature. Once opened, the candies stay fresh for about a month if you keep them in a dry place. They do not need refrigeration.

Can I choose the flavours?
Each box contains one of each flavour: grape, rose, peach, coconut water, lychee, and green apple. If you would like a custom flavour selection or a single-flavour box, get in touch.

Is this suitable for children?
Yes. The candies are vegan, gluten-free, with no nuts, dairy, or wheat. Grape and green apple are the most kid-friendly of the flavours included. The shell is firm but bites easily.

Is this a good gift for someone with dietary restrictions?
Most of the time, yes. The candies are vegan and gluten-free. If you are buying for someone with a specific allergy not covered by those, please get in touch before ordering and we will help you work out whether this is the right product.

Petals in Prism is made by Isaac and Jenny in Sydney. Isaac has been part of the Australian Japanese pop-culture community for close to two decades, and the candies grew from a long interest in Japanese confectionery and the food science behind it.
